Pediatric physical therapists evaluate and provide treatment for children who have difficulties
with gross motor skills. Physical therapy helps develop the strength and range of motion children
need to move through their environment and function in their daily lives. Physical therapy
goals often focus on developmental milestones such as sitting, standing, crawling and walking.
Treating diagnoses include, but, are not limited to developmental delay, Cerebral Palsy, Down
syndrome, Spina Bifida, Torticollis, as well as Autism Spectrum Disorders.
